FY2026 AGM and Panel Discussion

On May 23rd, the 2026 Annual General Meeting was held at the Tokoname City Pottery Museum (Tokonomori Museum). The event was attended by many distinguished guests, including Mr. Tatsuya Ito, Mayor of Tokoname; Mr. Asao Yamada, Deputy Mayor; Mr. Shigeki Sugie, Member of the Aichi Prefectural Assembly; as well as members of the Tokoname City Council, city officials, and other stakeholders.

Following the formal ceremony, a panel discussion titled "Nurturing the Next Generation into Strong Global Citizens" was held. The panel featured an insightful discussion with the following participants:

・Mr. Yasushi Terao, Director of the Tourism and Convention Division
・Faculty members in charge of English and international education at Tokoname Senior High School
・Mr. Taizo Fukuta, President of TSIE
・Mr. Kyohei Yamamoto, Secretary-General of TSIE and former diplomat at the Embassy of Japan in Bangladesh

The panelists engaged in a lively and productive discussion on the subject.
